The BAGS rule
Some adjectives go BEFORE the noun (BAGS = Beauty, Age, Goodness, Size):
- Beauty: beau, joli
- Age: vieux, nouveau, jeune
- Goodness: bon, mauvais
- Size: grand, petit
All other adjectives (including colors) go AFTER the noun.

un film intéressant (not: un intéressant film)
